Milestone park in Portland, Oregon added through community submission program, highlighting grassroots growth.
Pupsli announced today that its community has added the 1,000th park to the platform, a neighborhood dog park in Portland, Oregon submitted through the community contribution program.
Overlook Park Dog Area, a small fenced park in North Portland, became the milestone listing when local user Sarah Martinez submitted it along with photos and details about amenities. The park features separate areas for small and large dogs, water stations, and plenty of shade.
"I've been taking my dog Biscuit here for years and wanted to share it with friends," said Martinez. "It's not the biggest park, but it's our neighborhood spot. I'm honored it's the 1,000th park on Pupsli."
Community submissions have been essential to the platform's growth: - 60% of parks added through user submissions - Average of 5 new parks added daily - Users can submit parks with photos and amenity details - All submissions reviewed for accuracy
The most common park types on the platform: - Fenced off-leash areas (45%) - Open space/trails (30%) - Dog beaches (15%) - Small dog-specific areas (10%)
"Every park tells a story," said the Pupsli team. "From tiny neighborhood gems to major regional destinations, these are the places where our community comes alive. We're grateful to every user who takes the time to share their local spots."
Dog owners can submit new parks through the app at app.pupsli.com/submit-park.
