Annual ranking highlights most-loved parks across the country, from urban off-leash areas to scenic trail systems.
Pupsli released today its first annual "Top 50 Dog Parks" ranking, based on check-in volume, user ratings, and community engagement from the past year.
The top 10 parks include: 1. Barkin' Basin Park (Las Vegas, NV) 2. Zilker Park Off-Leash Area (Austin, TX) 3. Marymoor Park (Seattle, WA) 4. Silver Lake Dog Park (Los Angeles, CA) 5. Montrose Dog Beach (Chicago, IL) 6. Ft. Funston (San Francisco, CA) 7. Stapleton Dog Park (Denver, CO) 8. Piedmont Park Dog Park (Atlanta, GA) 9. Fiesta Island (San Diego, CA) 10. Prospect Park Dog Beach (Brooklyn, NY)
Rankings were determined by a combination of factors: - Total check-ins (30%) - User ratings (25%) - Repeat visits (20%) - Photo shares (15%) - Written reviews (10%)
"These parks represent the best of what makes dog ownership special," said the Pupsli team. "They're places where communities gather, friendships form, and dogs get to be dogs."
The full Top 50 list includes parks from 35 states, ranging from small neighborhood gems to sprawling regional destinations. Each listing includes details on amenities, surface type, parking, and what makes it special.
Notably, smaller parks performed well in ratings despite lower check-in volumes, demonstrating that community favorites aren't always the biggest or most well-known locations.
The complete ranking is available at pupsli.com/top-parks-2024.
